1870 Antique Micromosaic Drop Earrings

A pair of yellow gold and micromosaic earrings, circa 1870.  Each earring designed as small oval micromosaic of a Roman ruin within a molded surround of ropework and wirework suspending a drop shaped micromosaic of a Roman ruin within a molded surround enhanced with wirework rosettes, the whole suspended from a wire.
