1940s Gold Diamond Tassel Ropework Earrings

A pair of yellow gold, platinum and diamond earclips, circa 1940s.  Each gold earclip designed as a half hoop of three lines of ropework surmounting an open crescent centering five platinum set round single cut diamonds suspending a tassel.
