1950s Gold Arabesque Sapphire Pearl Enamel Necklace

A yellow gold, sapphire, pearl and enamel necklace, circa 1950.  Designed as a length of flat geometric chain centering a half barrel shape set with 10 seed pearls in two vertical rows flanking a row of six round faceted sapphires the pearls flanked by two sections of arabesque motif in blue enamel, the half barrel suspending a length of flat geometric chain culminating in a chevron with blue arabesque decoration suspending a chain tassel.
