Antique Micromosaic Black Onyx Choker Necklace

A 14 karat yellow gold, black onyx and micromosaic necklace, circa 1860. Designed as a choker displaying nine (9) graduated oval micromosaics set in black onyx depicting landmarks from classical antiquity ranging in size from approximately 17.57 x 14.39 to 25.38 x 20.95 mm., connected by double lengths of cable chain. Length approximately 13 1/4 inches. Gross weight approximately 37.10 grams.
