Antique Vatican School Micromosaic Plaque Bracelet

An 18 karat yellow gold, black onyx and micromosaic bracelet, The Vatican School, circa 1860.  Designed as a Grand tour bracelet with rectangular black plaques enclosing five oval micromosaics of Roman antiquity depicting: a Castello on the Tiber, the Pantheon, the Temple of Vesta, the Pyramid of Cestius and the Forum.
