Garavelli Pair Ladybug Brooches

A pair of 18 karat yellow gold, yellow sapphire, black onyx, enamel and diamond brooches, Garavelli. The first brooch formed as a ladybug set with approximately seventy six (76) yellow sapphires on its wings, its dots and eyes formed by eight (8) cabochon black onyxes, its body and thorax set with approximately thirty five (35) brilliant cut diamonds. The second, smaller, ladybug set with approximately fifty four (54) brilliant cut diamonds on its wings, its dots and eyes formed by eight (8) cabochon black onyxes, its body of black enamel and its thorax of yellow enamel. Total diamond weight approximately 2.06 carats. Length of larger ladybug approximately 1 3/8 inches; length of smaller ladybug approximately 1 inch. Gross weight approximately 33.00 grams. One brooch signed Garavelli.
