Lalaounis Byzantine Style Gold Ruby Sapphire Earrings

A pair of 18 karat yellow gold, ruby and sapphire earclips, Lalaounis, Greece.  Each Byzantine style earclip designed as a bombe disc displaying six bezel set round cabochon rubies centering one bezel set round cabochon sapphire suspending a trapezoidal plaque bezel set with five round cabochon rubies and two round cabochon sapphires suspending a rectangular plaque bezel set with two round cabochon sapphires and one oval cabochon ruby, all bezels within granulated surrounds, further granulation enhancing all three elements.  Length approximately 2 5/8 inches.  Gross weight approximately 33.50 grams.  With maker's mark for Lalaounis.
