An 18 karat yellow, white and rose gold, yellow diamond and diamond brooch, Nicholas Varney, 1999. Designed as a Peeling Onion, the bulb of white gold with yellow gold details set with approximately 148 round brilliant cut diamonds, the yellow gold greens set with approximately 97 round brilliant cut fancy yellow diamonds, the reverse with rose gold foliate motif. Total diamond weight approximately 12.62 carats; total fancy yellow diamond weight approximately 5.35 carats. Length approximately 2 7/8 inches. Gross weight approximately 42.00 grams. Signed N.
